USA 494 The Roller
Precising that each bullets mould casting has small dimension differences determined by the solidification of the lead, it is necessary to reduce such variations to improve the dimensional constancy. This is possible with our roller, which improves also the roundness of the same balls, reducing to the minimum the casting feed-head. It is produced with steel, sanded and blued, with rectified disk and inside. The rolling operation is made by hands, rolling the disk inserted into the roller-body, where a sufficient number of balls of the same caliber have been placed to cover the bottom. |

Focal point is 5" (125 mm) from end of brass tube so it provides useful inspection into smaller caliber barrels as well. Powder fouling, leading and damaged rifling are easily seen.
