Environmental Management System
The General Management has established, implemented and maintains an Environmental Policy that within the defined scope of its environmental management system is:
- appropriate to the size and environmental impacts of its activities and products;
- includes a commitment to protecting the environment, pollution and all specific commitments relevant to the Company;
- includes a commitment to meet its compliance obligations;
- includes a commitment to continuous improvement of the environmental management system to enhance environmental performance.
This environmental policy must:
- be maintained with documented information;
- communicated within the company and made available to interested parties;
- be kept up to date with any new provisions and new innovative methods.
ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY
Environmental issues represent an unavoidable and fascinating challenge: combining the legitimate needs of the community with the aspirations of the company to increase and consolidate its competitiveness. Therefore, Davide Pedersoli S.r.l. considers the UNI EN ISO14001:2015 standard as a means to define its Environmental Policy to operate in compliance with the rules and regulations on environmental and workplace safety aimed at reducing the impacts of its environmental aspects and the prevention and reduction of pollution.
The organizational structure of Davide Pedersoli S.r.l. aims to maintain and develop the following requirements:
- Document, make operational, with maximum transparency by making the environmental policy public, train and raise awareness among personnel at all levels to know, manage and control the main environmental issues of the activity and the correct performance of operations so that they work to rationalize the service offered to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- Ensure compliance with applicable legislative requirements and regulations on environmental legislation for the reduction of environmental impacts on business processes that optimize the recoverability of waste resulting from the company's activity.
- Periodically review the Environmental Management System to assess the environmental aspects that may arise from new processes or changes to the plants in order to keep the impacts resulting from it under control.
- A careful examination of each manufacturing process that allows the identification of areas for improvement in waste management and allows pollution to be prevented through the structural improvement of the plant, committing to acquire, when economically feasible, the achievement of the best use and control of the management of natural resources.
- Commitment to the prevention and reduction of pollution by providing all necessary resources.
- Monitor the performance of the Environmental Management System to verify the effectiveness of the improvement actions introduced.
- Develop the culture of the Environmental Management System throughout the company, involving all employees, promoting and raising awareness among suppliers towards environmental protection. Ensure its commitment to cooperation with local authorities and public authorities involved in environmental protection.

- Carry out Context Analysis and Risk Assessment.
- Determine compliance obligations, evaluate their fulfillment and, if necessary, correct non-conformities.
